Little Things...

Dreams.......desires.......so many synonyms for the endless quest of mankind. Running round the clock in pursuit of achieving those dreams and fulfilling the desire has become a second nature of us. Why is it that we always want to compete and win something? Is winning the only cause of #happiness?

Well, not really!

Have you ever tried to stop and think about all those little things that give the most eternal happiness? The happiness I am talking about is not the one which you get when you get higher paychecks for your work or secure 90% in board exams or clear an IIT entrance. I am not talking about all these things which hold utmost importance in our lives.

Listening to the singer who melts your heart by his or her voice..........

Reading a book which makes you see life in a different light........

Cracking the perfect tune on guitar.......

Eating a pani puri after a long time........

Yearning to go to the market just to drink sugarcane juice n lassi........

Stare at something endlessly .......

Having a heartfelt conversation with someone who you never thought could speak to you.......

Fighting with your sibling just to eat the last pie of a cake and finally sharing it equally.......

Knowing that your parents will always get you the things you love when you're sad....... Hanging out with friends and cracking up on a stranger......

Writing your heart out in a diary......

Looking up at the stars just to fondly remember someone......

Dancing in the middle of the road when your favourite song buzzes up......

Waiting for a long time for something special to happen.......

Battling out your insecurities.......

Loving something you have always hated............

All these things seem to have the power to satisfy our hunger of happiness in small quotients. So stop living a life aimed at the bigger things. Here are the little things which will never fail to cheer you up at the most required times........... because in the end its the little things that matter the most!!!!!
